Have you tried some very basic WiFi tweaks to improve the signal from
the router?
Some very basic WiFi tweaks (you will need admin access to your router
to try these simple changes):
1. use a unique SSID name (name of your network/router)
2. if using a G WiFi: set WiFi to G only (turns off a

coverage.
4) channel 3 overlaps with both 1 6. If the nearest networks are
using 1 6 you should use 11, which doesn't overlap with either of
them.
5) It is a problem. Choose only 1, 6, of 11 means exactly that.

Using WPA (WPA2 mode) could improve stability.
