Yup, mine does. If there is any difference in the "+" on the Radio or
the Boom remote I have not encountered it.

remote with the ir-command then it always clears my playlist. Perhaps
the "button-down-time" is too long... have to check...

Got my Radio yesterday, ALL the Squeezebox remotes I have work with it;
Squeezebox 2, SB 3 (Classic) and Boom.

If you use DirecTV and have one of their remotes that has buttons for
their DVR, you might want to check out this thread:
