I agree that there are a lot of recruiters out there that don't bother to
learn much about the techs they are working with. I've done a bit of coding
over the years but not enough to call myself a developer! But I'd like to
think that at least I try.
I get a lot of generic recruiter emails too.
It’s simply because there is huge demand for developers and not enough supply,
which creates a profitable situation for developers and recruiters. From the
developers perspective, we are bombarded with emails from the recruiters who
