While we're offering alternatives: I signed up for OrionVM and gave it a spin today. I'm reasonably happy with the web interface and console. It seems to be built entirely in JS, so if you refresh the page you get logged out. Also the console doesn't appear to play well with VI's modes. But...

Personally, I just spin up Amazon EC2 instances myself or use heroku these days. Amazon micro instances are roughly $12 a month and are pretty damn decent for everything I need to do on a small scale. YMMV.
