INPEX Foundation Scholarships 2004 REQUIREMENTS: Indonesian nationality Have studied more than 16 years of school education Not more than 30 years of age Having "SARJANA" degree from prestigious national university in the field of NATURAL SCIENCE Have the aim to study in the course of NATURAL SCIENCE in the MASTER COURSE of university in Japan GPA more than 3.0 Excellent health condition Have interest in the friendly relations between Japan-Indonesia & are prepared to contribute in the promotion of such relations Have not been awarded other scholarships in Japan STUDENTS TO BE ACCEPTED: less than 2 (two) students will be accepted for 2004 program. 2004 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CONDITION : School expenses (entrance fee, examination fee, tuition fee, etc.) will be paid to the university 160,000 Yen /month as living expenses (lodging expenses, medical expenses, transportation fee, books, etc.). However, in case the lodging is paid for by INPEX Foundation, the monthly award may be reduced accordingly Economy air ticket (except passport acquisition fee, visa fee for entering Japan, etc. are to be borne by the students) A scholarship is awarded maximum up to 2 years 8 months SELECTION: The selection shall be made from the qualified applicants by examining application form, past school records, study plan, letter of recommendation, etc. Government employee recommended by Sekretariat Negara & accepted by academic advisor of Japanese university as his/her student at the university in the written form of recommendation and/or compliance shall be given priority in selection All applicants will be notified of the results of the primary selection by the end of January 2004 Final selection of the scholarship students will be notified by the end of June 2004 SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS : 2 photographs (5cm X 3.5cm) Transcript of academic record issued by the university attended Letter of recommendation as a confidential letter addressed to the INPEX Foundation from the president of the graduated university or from the professor in charge, mentioning the applicant's studying attitude, character, etc. Graduation certificate issued by the university attended Personal history & data (Curriculum Vitae) Health certificate Admission certificate from the university/other research institute in Japan (if already obtained) Certificate of TOEFL (if any) Certificate of Japanese Language Test (if any) DEADLINE OF APPLICATION : 15 NOVEMBER 2003 (postmark) FORM APPLICATION & FURTHER INFORMATION: please contact to: INPEX Corporation Jakarta Office Mid Plaza Building I 7th Floor Jl.Jend.Sudirman Kav.10-11 Jakarta 10220 Phone. 021-570-0557
