I'm seeing authentication (202) errors on reports sent to: discovery.spamnet.com
joy.cloudmark.com accepts my report fine.
Is there a mirroring problem? Or is there a fault with my installation (which
has not changed a jot in a couple of months [I'm still on 2.72].

The following patch should clear up this segfault problem. I've verified it
with my install.
It's strange, but 2.72 razor-agents seem to have incorporated the FreeBSD
ports "patch", however this one they screwed up. The code as provided will

I have an existing high-volume SA-2.63 + Razor installation... am I correct

This is the UNIX Way(tm).
Commands which don't return output are assumed to have completed
successfully. Whether it actually did what you wanted is a debate better

No, you don't need it to integrate razor.
It's vital for any kind of busy server, however. The startup time of
PERL/SA is non-trivial.

This isn't a Razor question. Try a Spamassassin list.
procmail-invoked SpamAssassin can't do "rejects" - as

If it's feedback you crave, then add a -d switch.
The default behaviour is no feedback == no error.

For you acting alone, there IS no point. But for the group of people using
Razor, there is very much a good point in reporting it. Like with any such

You may want to use the -f flag, since razor-rep

Speaking of which, SA 2.61 is released. Tag and bag those spam-scum.

You don't need an INBOUND port open on 2703, you just need to allow OUTGOING
connections TO port 2703. In iptables-speak, you just need to:

You should install Razor first, just to be sure that SA "finds it" during
the "build process" of SA.

Bloody annoying. One thing I notice too is that within /usr/lib/perl5 there
is a site_perl directory and an i386-blah-blah directory.
These two directories have different versions of components! For example,
