I've used DiaCompe 204's on mustache bars with Tektro 720's on a couple of
different bikes. Inexpensive, works great, and the quick release on the
levers is handy.

I wish I had a bike with fork crown rack brazeons, but given how the
struts attach to the Mark's with pivots, I'd guess that a Mini mounted
to the fork crown hole would actually be stiffer/stronger, no? Why did
you chose the Mark's for a cantilever bike?

has the same platform as a Mark's, n? If you use the light mount
intended for the fork crown hole, it should be dandy.

rack on two different bikes. One using the two fork mounted struts as on the
Bombadil, and one using the center tang on another bike. It made no

Well I'm considering taking the rear rack off for a bit and mounting a fender
mounted light on the rear.Is there a way to attach it to the underside of
the fender? Do most just zip it to the fender stays and then frame up to the
light? This is part of some goofy plan to clean up the rear

The 600s are basically the same as the contemporary Shimano shape. So if
you're not a fan, these probably won't help. On M-bars it's a moot point
though, as you're resting your hand on the side

I was fortunate enough to enjoy the beautiful day and rode A. Homer Hilsen.

They say that happiness is best when shared. Riding your bike with a
group of friends pretty much sums this up pretty well. A group of
friends and I have random rides sometimes to a event, or a new place
to but every once in a while we have a Jersey Ride. Where we ride for
the sake of just riding.
And enjoy seeing them I did! What a great showing!

After 8 years of commuting on the WOD, the last 4 daily, I finally
invested in studded tires this year. While it is true that the number
of days when studded tires are absolutely necessary is limited, those
days tend to come in blocks of 3-4 days or a week at a time. It

Hey all, I have a 59cm Rivendell Bleriot Frame, fork, Tange headset
and Shimano( I think) bottom Bracket for sale. All parts are
origianl. I am the 2nd owner, has the usual rubs and nicks but no

I did a randonneuse conversion on a 1984 Trek 770. I had kept the mid 80's
vintage Cinelli bar and stem, but I'm spoiled by the flat tops of the
Noodles, so I switched it out to a Noodle and Nitto stem, which also allowed
me to get the decaleur and handlebar bag on there. It did great on my
