Hey Ryan,
Post up about your trip when you get back! I'm looking for S24O
destinations around the Sound for my nine-year-old and me.
The WA State Parks we've car-camped at have been really quite nice, but
we've only been to a few. (And they're too far away.)

Hey Rob,
I'm in Seattle and I have some that are from a set of Gran Compe shifters.
Brand new, never used since I decided to get shifter pods instead.

Anyone have an extra pair of downtube stops for Silver Shifters? These
would be the washers with a square hole that fit over the downtube bosses
and have a stop welded on--the extra bits that get shipped with the
shifters that you don't need if you're using them as bar-ends.

Hey Mike.
I actually grew up in Warwick and my folks still live there.
Nice to see some Ocean State Riv spirit.

Same here. I did something really stupid (went against physics), fell
over and bent the heck out of my rear wheel of my Ram. I was able to
just widen the brake caliper with the adjuster and ride on home for five
miles and not a thing rubbed. I didn't even feel the sizable wobble in
the rim.
Hi Christopher,
Congratulations on a successful back surgery! Don't be too harsh on your
health provider: research shows that a "successful" outcome (i.e.,
resolution of back pain, radicular symptoms, restoration of function) is a
50/50 proposition.
The typical healing time for these things is a

I've noticed this from the iPad and when manually typing the address I don't
see the issue. To that end I would suggest deleting the history and try again.
It would also indicate issues with the browser attempting to load the site
from cache.

Hey Grant, bring the cool aid Riv flavour down under. Will buy the book and

Same problem last fall for me, but I was on my Ram. I did some hamfisted

Very nice ride today. Thirty miles out and back on the oddly named

Dear Patrick,
It just loaded in about 20 seconds for me. I suspect the resistance is
caused by negative intrapsychic phenomena. Do you think about your bank
balance while loading Riv Bicycle Works? Or is your wife standing close to
the computer?

I've got aluminum fenders on my Ram from VO; I like them, but they weren't
fun to mount, as I was fitting them over 32's. They're long; however, I
don't think VO carries the anodized aluminum anymore...

If you are going to use the Hunq for anything besides single tracking, I
would recommend the Bosco Bullmoose. You will get more variety in your
positions for long days on the road, and there is plenty of room to set up
the shifters and levers anyway you would need.
