I think the key point here is that it is, and should be an individual
choice. I am definitely in the psychological mindset camp of those who
"feel safer" when I'm wearing protective clothes. I feel this mainly when
I'm on my motorcycle and one day choose the half helmet because it's nice
out and
I wonder if they're selling Just Ride at 826 Valencia. Seems like an
approprite book for them. I think it would be really neat to see some
kind of 826/RBW collaboration although I have no idea what it would

As you may know, CA requires people under 18 to wear a helmet. My kids
therefore, always wear a helmet, and one day I picked him up from

Must not read the NYTimes. As a story gripping NY recently demonstrates, a
broken bone that perforates the skin, followed by septic shock, and you die
I drilled a small hole in the dust cap, then drove a wood screw into
the hole and pulled out the dust cap. When I was finished repacking,
I filled the hole with Hogar's glue or something similar. Not idead,

Yep, "surprisingly dry" pretty much sums it up. On the good side, once
lubed the pedals are great (both my GK and Touring pedals). The plastic
covers are kind of pain.
