I've been toying with differentiating the hilsen and the romulus some more
and I decided I would try some radically different bars. I had a pair of
these inexpensive arc bars on a tandem and I really liked the position I
ended up in. So I thought I'd try it out on the hilsen.
I think the stem
I like it! I put some similar bars on my Quickbeam a few months and now it
feels really dialed. Flat bars get a bad rap around here sometimes but
they can be just perfect sometimes. I've found that with swept back flat
bars I don't need the stem as high; with drops my bars are just about

No, what causes problems with lights is the light shining in the eyes, not
the width. The Luxos has a cutoff, which keeps the level of the light
below the eyes of the pedestrians and drivers, so it doesn't blind them...

clients are true assholes and most problems (mine or theirs) come from

You should be able to feel it if you are shoving the stem's bottom and
the wedge into the butted portion. To be safe, let it drop all the way
down, then pull it up a cm and tighten.
Otherwise, get a stem with a shorter quill.
