Spare rims are always useful. If you wear out or damage a rear wheel, assuming the same ERD and spoke count, makes for an easy rim swap. Wheels take up a lot of storage space, but if they're not in the way, worth hanging on to if only as spares. Hard to imagine the type of riding which would pr
