IIRC the Hilsen was released in late 2006. Around 2009 there was a large list of Protovelos posted on Riv’s site. I believe some of them were essentially Hilsens that Mark built to practice with the lugs. With any Protovelo it is hard to say exactly what model it is or most closely resembles
