It would be a good idea to check the alignment of the rear triangle of the frame and dropouts. It's likey the wheel took the brunt of the impact and the frame is fine, but worth checking anyway. I was rear ended once at high speed. The rear wheel collapsed and I think acted as a crumple zone.
