I can’t believe this thread doesn’t have a whole a lot of replies! My
brother-in-law has a Clementine that my sister has stolen from him. He put up
resistance at first, but he usually takes his motorized scooter to work, so he
gave in and let her ride his bike. His Clem has become hers for

has been sold separately. So I can now offer the frame/fork/headset/BB for
$1100 plus shipping.

I wanted to narrow down my broad search to a Clem style. Technically based
on my size I should be on a 52 frame but the standover is huge on that 52
H. I had a 52 Hillborne and it was at the top of what I liked size wise
with standover and the 52 Clem H is even higher. So even though I
I decided that I was going to narrow my broad search down to one. So what
I am looking for is a Clem H in size 45. Color doesn't matter. I don't
need a saddle, seatpost or pedals but will gladly take anything else or a
frame if that's what you have and the price is right! Someone here can
I sure do remember it! A beautiful one!

That indeed is my recommendation, particularly with friction shifting. Use
the chain you like, and I suspect it will be perfecto for you.

You mean the forthcoming Jöe "Wrists" St. Bernard? 16" wheels, clearance
for 3.5" tires, dual drum brakes if I'm reading this drawing right.

The sizing recs on the new MIT versions of old frames are definitely a little
confusing. I didn't really deal with that because this particular bike was
offered as a hardly ridden demo from Analog Cycles; all I had to do was check
the toptube length (I know I can step over a 53 frame) and
It has been observed that I'm asking for $30 for the sneaker pedals and Riv
sells them for that. Let's say $20 shipped?

Hi all, looking to clean out some seldom used stuff. All prices include
shipping. I'll be able to send out Monday-Weds of next week. PayPal F+F
or cash app, please. If you're local to Portland and want to pickup I'll
knock a few bucks off.

So I would be getting the 7-8-9 speed version of the Rene Herse crank. As I
said, I am happily friction shifting 8 speed. But I might consider trying 9
speed with an Ultegra chain if the "special" Ultegra 9 speed chain was
going to magically interact with the Rene Herse crank in a way that
"I'm a little mystified by Riv's PBH chart for this frame "
I just took a look at both the new & old sizing charts. On the old one,
they used PBH, but it's not on the new one. The closest dimension is
stand-over height. I'm 5'10" with an 84 cm PBH. On the old sizing chart,

It’s an amazing build. I know a young woman with a 78 PBH who left teaching
after a really bad experience and now works at the local non profit bike
shop who it would be perfect for but it’s way outside her price range.

Thanks Jonathan. Yes, it's an unbelievable drag that I can't ride it, I

Is anyone running a 53 with drops who has a 85 PBH? ISorry Joe that you have

I'm putting this out there for any potential buyers, not to try to talk you
specifically into snagging it:
I'm a little mystified by Riv's PBH chart for this frame and don't agree with
it. Unless they envision this as a touring bike with drops, it just doesn't
make sense. I'm 5'-7", 79-80 PBH,

My advice as a former shop owner is go tubes-in. The last thing you want is a
tubeless tire coming unseated at speed on a tandem.
(I also ride a hubbah)
My two cents

You will not blow out a sidewall due to air pressure requirements of a tandem.
Tires are tested well beyond stated maximum pressure, and you probably won't
even hit that.
