I’ve used the stock adjustable length struts of the Clem Bosco basket aka Wald
MultiFit with an old Raleigh using the bolt-on front axle attachment point and
felt it was sturdy enough but did experience occasional flex with heavier
loads. I also briefly installed a large Wald basket on one of

The most recent sets are semi-narrative, but there are some random ones from
the weekend earlier in the thread.
Also, I turned the RBWXXV patches back on in the Etsy shop, if anyone missed
out.
Hello,

Hi Mark, measuring from the center of the crank to the approximate top of the
saddle, measuring up the seat tube is about 79cm.
Stand over is around 81. Hard to get exact, trying to balance the bike and
holding the tape measure, while not letting my reading glasses slide down my
nose.

I use a Wald basket with the struts, and I’m happy with them. A gallon of
milk with groceries, or a lid of library books, still works ok. Note that I
attach the struts to a mid eyelet, so I only have to use one strut per
side, not the extended double strut.

Eric,
I have a set of Alex DM18s on rivendell silver hubs that might work for you.
They were stock on an Appaloosa, and were gently ridden before I replaced them
with a different set with Dyno hub. Search my posts and you'll see the listing
for sale. Price is negotiable, because I would like

In my limited basket experience, I have found that the rack method is best
suited to my uses- even if it is just a little canti-stud/P-clamp mounted

I'm not certain that the first basket I had was a Wald brand, and may have
been made out of inferior materials, but I thought
One of these days I will offer opinions rather than soliciting them, but
today is not one of those days.
What does the collective wisdom say about mounting a Wald basket with Wald
manufactured struts (for example, the 1372 that Wald sells, or the "Clem
Bosco Basket" that Riv sells) versus

Hello,
Some new and some old items to go. I’ve screwed myself in the past by including
shipping in the cost and then actually losing money shipping items across the
country, so if you’re on the east coast, tack on, say 5$, to any of the non
tiny items for shipping.

That's a great price for a new Atlantis with all the goodies on it. I hope
your friend is able to sell it.
Regarding the size, likely it's a 61 cm. I have a 58 & it measures 22-3/4
crank center to top of top tube. On Rivendell's site, they have the frame

One in, one out. It is a net balance. Otherwise, serious meteorological or
geologic events might occur if things went out of balance on the coasts.

I did the Farmer's Daughter that year on a bike with centerpulls and 700 x
38-43 tires (can't remember which set I had on at the time). The main
problem with a non-canti or disc setup is the mud buildup under and along
the brake arms. I hosed off at the rest stop after partaking of the
