J!!! Did you have yours shipped or did you pick it up in person? My sister is in Minneapolis and waiting for hers. Rivendell didn’t give her an ETA but they are shipping hers without the usual routine of opening and inspecting the box. I hope they shipped hers! Then she and her husband will

I think my Clem H feels super light, too. I don’t know a thing about frame geometry but I assume there’s a special balance it has. I “graduated” my wife from a rescued Jamis Commuter to her own Clem H and she feels the same way about it feeling light. > On Aug 23, 2019, at 8:27 PM, Joe

Adam: Leah (Belle Ding Ding) and I were just discussing this. She noticed that "spring" in her Clementine, and I related that I could detect a bit of flex in the Clem L I had. I don't pretend to know how all this works, but that bike feels like it absorbs energy and spits it back out into a

i concur that the clem L feels light for what it is. i think because it lacks a top tube it gives up a bit more flex which makes pedaling easier. On Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 7:39:45 PM UTC-7, J Imler wrote: > > I'm in the que for a Clem L that's to arrive in August. I went for the > Chameleon

There is something about the clem feeling lighter than it is. The only time i notice that it's heavy is when have to pick it up to go up the steps into work. When riding it feels like a lighter bike than it is, and it rides equally well loaded or unloaded. -- You received this message

My boyfriend is replacing his Disc Trucker with a Clem L 52cm. On test rides, he said the Clem climbed better and accelerated faster, while still being able to carry a lot. That's been his main complaint with the Trucker-it's great for carrying a lot, but is tortoise-like. Since we mostly ride

Mark, I believe the reason for the bent seat stays is because of the seat lug, which is not custom for each size. Since the exit angle from the lug is the same across several sizes, it means some need a bent stay for the tube to connect from the seat cluster to the rear dropout (an
