I've got no dog in the fight, but outbidding might not be a good thing on this
forum. You set a price, someone replies first with an offer to buy, and done.
That said, I'll give you $65 if everyone else backs out.

Hi Frank,
Someone on the forum offered me $125, but he hasn’t paid yet. If he doesn’t
pay by tomorrow, I will let you know. Can’t tell if he’s serious or not.

For sale: assorted Selle Italia, Flite, and WTB saddles. all in good usable
shape, some cleaner than others.
These were a donation to my local bike co-op — all proceeds will go to the
co-op.
I’m asking $30 each shipped w/in the US, or 4 for $100. Paypal preferred.

George, I didn't make it to Porchfest even though I live nearby. There are
a few Riv owners in the Oakhurst, Kirkwood, Decatur area. Always an event
to see one! Encountered a fellow last week riding a stunning custom painted
new Roadeo.

There are a lot of different types of Gravel events. I started organizing
some in 2007; none of them are races, but all it takes to have a race is to
have 2 people trying to outdo each other. In the larger events, it is
typically easy to find someone to ride with, regardless of one's pace. In
Advice from a fellow Laterne Rouge gravel/endurance rider: prepare yourself
to be riding alone, it's bound to happen unless you've planned ahead with
friends or somehow make friends along the way during the ride. On long
distance events it happens to everyone, actually, even the fast people in
I do not know, but sure would like to. I suspect a phone call would provide
the answer.
Were you riding at porchfest in Kirkwood yesterday? I think I saw a Riv
pass while we were walking around and was curious if it was anyone from
here.

Hi Jeff. I’m on mobile and can’t reply privately, but I’ll buy this if it’s

Jeff- Did you purchase your Boscos new or used? From what I remember, the
first-ever wave of Boscos had slipping issues with them and Rivendell/Nitto
recalled them. I was one of the original purchasers of the handlebar but
before I could ever mount them, I had to ship them back for a refund.
I had the same problem. Discovered that the bars had slightly deformed at
the clamp area and therefore lost the strength of being a tube.
I could tighten the stem all day but the bar would simply compress and slip
with moderate force. Had to throw the bars away. They weren't safe.

Well, first I would steer clear of any event which includes the word "race"
in the title.
For these organized gravel rides, part of it is the result of what RBW and
BQ have been promoting for years--wider tires, offroad terrain. 10 years
ago, "gravelbiking" it hardly existed, 5 years ago it wa
