I try to teach my wife that but I haven’t been successful yet. She hates being
cold and will start off every activity severely overdressed. Ten minutes in and
we’ll be stopping for her to shed some layers. And I go back to being slightly
cold...

Thanks Dave and Benz. I found it. Tricky!
New shirts are on the way.

I have a few Edgevale shirts and pants and have found the fit to be loose but
not baggy. Hopefully this batch holds to that.
My Riv fit comment was based on the old RBW shirts - I would be a medium in
those. As I have a couple of shirts on the way I hope that fit will hold up on
these. If

`I like the color and the logos, too--though I don't think the mustard

stains on some shirts I have). I think the shape is a bit non-traditional

Be aware that at least on my browser, the itty bitty ruler icon that David
talked about goes away once you start clicking on the other sizes. If that
happens, just reload the page and don't touch the size icons. I'm using

Hi All, Thanks for your interest so far. Here is an update to what remains
available and what has already sold. I also updated the pictures to include
photos of the wheels as well as the Swift Zeitgeist.

Paul — There’s an itty, bitty graphic image of a ruler that links to the
sizing chart for each shirt. The chambray “Small” is about ¾” larger than
the other small shirts. Perhaps because it shrinks in laundering and the
others are pre-shrunk fabric?
I ordered a Small Railroad short sleeve.
I may be more likely than most group members to use cheap and inelegant
solutions. I would look for a reflector bracket that goes on the fork under
the headset nut. They used to be used to take the place of the headset
washer and often served as an unsuitably flexy cable housing stop. If a big

Hey Benz,
Can you link to where you found those measurements? I'm almost always
between sizes, but I can find them on their site or on Google.
Thanks for the tip Dan. These look like great shirts, just in time for new
shirt season!

I would definitely go to 700c/622 myself, both for the tire options and the
fact you can fit a little more tire too! Probably 32mm but at least 28mm
tires, and since the overall diameter will be pretty much the same as
original, geometry will be preserved.

If you go with the Nitto rack, be sure that the bag is supported by the straps,
not the rack. It can hold a little weight, but its main purpose is to keep the
bag from moving around.

What to wear is very subjective. With that said, when I start out on a
ride, if I feel a chill when I start out I’m generally dressed
appropriately. If I feel cozy and warm right away, I’ve overdressed and am
going to be looking to shed layers in a few minutes. All in all, be chilly

I purchased one of the "cloud" shirts. They have a 10% new customer

Just b4 heading out on yesterday's ride I mounted that two-legged kickstand
from Pure Cycles on my Miele 26'er old mtb.
I kinda like it's functionality though not necessarily the look. Works well.

I've got a medium on the way as well. I have no idea what a chambray shirt
is, but I do need some shirts and I know that any info that pops up in this
group is solidly reliable!!

thanks to dan's hot tip, i've got a medium on the way that's supposed to
show up today. i'd be happy to take some more comprehensive pre-wash
measurements lest ye fellow chambray wearers not be misfitted.

I think I understand the problem. When you install that bag, the
back/bottom tilts against the head tube and brake cable? If that's the
issue, I solved a similar problem by just getting a piece of flat aluminum
piece, 4"-5" long and maybe a 1/2" wide, bending it into a Z shape (with 90

I'm all for having a few more things with me for short trips afoot. but a

Hi Harth.
I remember you from the ibob.
Welcome over to the rbw-owners-bunch list.
I still read some of the ibob topics occassionally but have gravitated more to
the riv list which is more in sync these days with my interests.
