Anyone have a spare 56cm quick beam or simple one floating ‘round? I would like
to get back into some fixed gear riding.

Thanks for the problem solving, Jim. I noticed the same thing yesterday
when I wanted to dig into some Rivendell Readers and noticed that Reed's
collection is no longer pinned at the top. Hopefully Google sorts this out,
but if not, the tag is a reasonable workaround.

I will usually mark where I want to cut and put them in a vice, gently of
course. When I use a vice, I like to wrap them to avoid damaging the
finish. I only have the portion I want to remove, and then another inch or
so sticking out so that I don’t have too much leverage working against me.
