Hello all,
Up for sale is a WoolyWarm seven button cardigan, size Large, still in the
original shipping bag. I had intended this one to be a "backup" to the
other Woolywarm cardigan I ordered, a hasty move, I now realize.
Price is $100, plus $10 for shipping in US. Please refer to Riv's page
Please someone pick up this beautiful and large Clem L before I do
something I regret

I had the Pletscher double on my old Appaloosa. It worked fine with 50mm
Cazaderos on Cliffhangers. It's not even close to fitting on my new
Appaloosa with those same tires/rims. I had trouble with single leg
kickstands as well. I have since moved on to 55mm tires and I gave up on

thanks for the recommendations and suggestions - managed to get a matching
rear thumbie for the bike, and went ahead and ordered a set of paul levers
because they'll likely be the last set of levers we'll ever need. been
really digging old shimano mtb stuff lately but didn't want to hold out
Ryan, that's a beautiful bike. I originally wanted my Roadeo to have a
darker Bing cherry color, but after all these years I've had the bike, I'm
sure that I'm actually faster with this hotter red color. I can't argue
with the fact that orange is the fastest color though.
I have a Jones LWB complete (size M) and a Susie (size L). Or had a Susie
until it died an untimely death after falling off a bike rack on the
highway. I found the Susie to be barely the right size (me: PBH 87, 6 foot,
150 lbs) so take all of this with that in mind.
I got the Susie because the
I do like green and Harvest Gold or mustard to you clem owners and I really
like maroon with cream; one of the Roadeos had that maroon/cream colour
scheme that I thought looked elegant and understated.
I like maroon so much I had my 2016 custom mixte painted in that colour.

Thanks Eric, that is a help. The Joe that I had seen on eBay has sold.
Maybe the next best option is the Atlantis. Not really sure when that is
supposed to show up.

Thanks, for the info Nikko! I have a PBH of 90-91 cm, and just waiting for
one to come along in my size! These are my favorite Rivs to date, and green
to boot! I have a Sam in the stable, but really need to add one of these.

I don't have a Roadeo -- would love to one day! -- and I love the green
suggested above, but I'm a huge fan of the black / cream that Eric Marth
used for his repaint of the Sam Hilborne in the beautiful video he posted
six-weeks back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OmJRDn5R8I.
On Tuesday,
Thanks!
PBH is ~86-87cm
Saddle Height in the photo is probably closer to 75cm. My suggested saddle
height from fits is ~75.5cm-76cm for my more spirited bikes.

My Legolas was painted the same color green as the now defunct Rivendell
Redwood. I would post a pic but can't seem to get one to show up using and
iphone...

Very nice! Out of curiosity, do you know your PBH? And, whats your saddle
height in the photo? `

I have an opinion about the ideal colors for a Roadeo. I think the best
and most desirable Rivendells are the ones that remain true to their
trademark color. I think the Atlantis is best in it's recognizable
Atlantis color. I think the A Homer Hilsen is best in it's trademark blue

Joe: nice heads up… I am shorter then you with a 80-81-ish PBH. Factoring
in the long reach on these bikes, the smaller size would be best.
Garth: your advice is stellar. But, is bicycle love prone to flawed radar
just like human love? With the Susie, my heart goes thump, thump, thump.
But,
Laura, trust your first "for whatever reason" instinct about a Susie.
Laura, I can't tell you how either bike, let alone any bike rides any more
than I can tell you how a banana tastes ! You have to eat one to find out.
Now I may wax poetic about the taste all day long but that has no
