Indeed! That was a nice little surprise. I honestly thought maybe I hadn’t quite followed the contest directions to a “t”.I purchased some Nitto stuff; some bar plugs, and a lamp holder for my Edelux light I purchased from a fellow forum member. On Sep 21, 2022, at 8:30 PM, Joe Bernard wrote:I got
I got one, too, and one for the "name the author" contest. I thought I'd
answered wrong or they'd forgotten about the whole idea! Now what am I

Rivendell recently posed a question on Instagram with a $20 reward for
those who answered correctly. As a Bob Dylan fan I was able to answer
correctly and just received my reward! I ordered a mini-triangle, two rolls
of Newbaum tape and a 7 speed Jim cassette (11-36) to try on my Clem. I

Is there something wrong with using GC700 on both front and rear?

In a previous conversation I promised to post my findings on actual brake
reach needs for the new Roadini frames. Specifically, I had been
speculating that the Dia-Compe/Gran-Compe model GC610 center-pull could
work, despite having only 61 of the specified-as-required 63 millimeters of
reach.

the late 70's to early 80's. They can be yours for the asking. PM me if
you're interested and I'll ship 'em to you.

I'm eager to hear ride reports on this bike. I have been considering
getting a Cheviot or Platty on the second-hand market but maybe this is a
good (and available) alternative.

The half-round function is to locate the indexing function of the indexing
shifters correctly. Not strictly necessary, but it makes it impossible to
install an indexing shifter incorrectly - idiot proofing. It is easily
removed with a file or Dremel to allow silver or Dia-Compe friction

Attemped to mount the silver shifter onto the shimano pod this morning and
ran into a snag. Many of you probably know this, but if not, here's the
deal.
Here's a photo of the Shimano Pod. Thanks Park Tool!

If it fits with the rack on I'd leave it, that structure provides some
protection for the fork against crush damage. Put some foam or pipe

the rack installed.
What do you think?

I like the stacked look of these washers on the unpainted frame, as they
