If you feel like riding up a big hill while you are in the San Francisco area, I recommend Hawk Hill. It's just on the Marin side of the Golden Gate Bridge, and it follows the cost for about a mile and a half (all of which is uphill). The payoff is a great view of the bridge and San Francisco
