This is mine and I'm trying to raise funds for my pooch's upcoming surgery...
But I'd rather find another way to pay for surgery than sell this bike too
cheap cuz
Looks great! I have Boscos on my 50 cm Homer and I find myself often grabbing
the bar near the brake levers instead of the grips. What's your favorite hand
position with the Boscos?

I could do it if I had the space...
Bikes I still have:
1) AHH with boscos for most of my recreational riding and light commuting
(small saddlesack)
2) Betty Foy with albas and racks for commuting
3) Quickbeam for quick errands (carradice bag)
4) Bridgesone RB-1 to ride with my roadie friends
5)
Yup, good ol auto correct. I meant that I like em.

I have Boscos on my Hilsen. I like email but am not sure if I like email better
than the albas I have on my betty. I often grab near the bend near the shifters
when I don't want to be too upright.

I have a Hilsen and a Betty... I think the Betty will be the one that
grows old with me because 1) the step-through is easier than kicking the
leg over at age 80+... and 2) I will probably shrink as I age, and the
Hilsen may be too big then.
I vote for Foy/Gomez too.

Of the Betty, Quickbeam, RB-1 and AHH... I enjoy riding the AHH the most... But
I would probably pick Betty if I could only have one. I am thinking ahead to
when I may not be limber, and the step-thru frame will age well with me.

Hi Pam,
I have a 52 Betty and a 77 pbh. I also have a 91 red RB-1 that is 51 cm. I
think that was the smallest one they made then. I think this 57/58 will be too
big for you. If you can find the moolah, I think the 47 cm Toyo AHH on the Riv
clearance will fit you.

I love my Betty because it's nice to commute with. With the step-thru top tube,
it's easy to load up rear bags or panniers and not worry about having to swing
the leg over. Also easy to maneuver the front of the bike around at street
lights. Can't think of anything I don't like. Btw, congrats
Does buying a $300 gift certificate count?

Looks like the Homer, tandem and Extracycle are gone already. Had my eye on the
Extracycle, and am slightly relieved I don't need to find more garage space ;)
Did you happen to get it, Manny?

Congrats to Dawn on the betty you're building. They are great bikes and my
first Riv was a Betty... And I know that I will keep her always as my daughter
has already claimed her post mortum ;) As you said, they do ride smooth...

I know this is an old thread, but I'm curious if there are any Hilsens out
there with the Boscos on it. I'm getting a Hilsen and am debating on whether to
put Albas or Boscos on it. I have albas on my Betty, noodle on quickbeam, and
moustache on an old Centurion. Betty is my commuter and I'd
All,
Have too many bikes and decided not to continue updating my RB-1... and am

I got a pair of 650b Middys for $5. There were some great deals on some used
Hilsens for $1700, a mystery bike for $2000 and the 48 Sam with moustache for
$2000. Saw more but that's what stood out in my mind. I went specifically
looking for new tires for my Betty but brought $1500 in cash just
Hubby has a Hunq. I have a Betty, Quickbeam and RB-1... And am being tempted by
the 50.6 pink custom, 50 homer and 48 bomb. I need to stay off the Riv site lol
Seems like they always have small frames on clearance :(

Nice setup! I think you can put Betty or Yves decals on either
color... so id you go with the blue, you can ask for Yves decals
instead of Bettys.

talk about one-colored frames... I thought I'd share some pics of my
