Bill, the last bike I rode in Michigan was my yellow Schwinn Varsity, in
about 1973. Nice to see those beautiful Sam pics at my alma mater! Go Blue!

my 94 yr-old dad)

I am sitting in 70 degree sunshine reading your post, thinking, "No. No
way. Hanging out in the latrine just to warm up before a bike ride? No,
that's not happening." And yet...and yet, I'll bet that coffee tasted
damned good. So happy birthday, Tim, and thanks for sharing this tale with
us.

What a find! You just watch...someone is gonna get one of these made now
and we will all debate the best color to use.

Roberta, yes the "She-Devil" (in matte anthracite it looks more like a
"He-Devil" to me) really does seem like a fine bike for the cost, plus it
was in stock !!! and I wanted to try this style of frame for my 70 yr old
body. I'm going to put Tosco bars on it to get a little more up and back,
but
I gave up and bought a Handsome She-Devil step through on sale.

Folks, the oversized stock medium shrinks down to a perfect medium. Just
like the website says. No worries, really nice shirt. This is the way we
used to roll in the old days, shrink to fit.

I have been using these VP-831P Bauhaus pedals for 4 years now, after

grip tape is with any footwear I use, and I eliminate the problem I had
with getting scratched up with studded pedals. I don't typically ride in

I'm with Leah. Very disappointing. Think I'm gonna have to just say no.
