After all the discussion of long-distance rides, I was inspired to post on our blog about a typical ride. Like Grant's S24O camping trips, most of our rides don't go far from home, yet there is a lot of fun to be had. To me, the long adventures are like eight-course meals: special and memorable, but not what I'd want to do every week. Our weekly rides are more like daily fare: less elaborate and more easily digested, but very enjoyable nonetheless.
