What a badge! Yeah, I am watching this auction, and hoping for a
financially reasonable outcome; the purchase isn't what I might call
"necessary," as I am committed to a Sam build already with Riv! But if
this Heron is a good deal . . . .

i had a similiar first generation 57cm Heron Tourer. as a loaded tourer it
handled well and was quite comfortable. i never used it with less than 4
panniers, rear rack/bag and front handlebar bag so i cant comment on how it
rode unloaded
it did have a couple shortcomings. first, a modern loaded
I have also been watching it, I would love love this bike but I am at 5
already. I dont have a "go fast" bike in the stable right now though, but
that excuse wont fly with my wife, I dont think at least.
