It is about the 12 month anniversary of the Initial Ibob Albuquerque Wild Spring Wind and Massive Car Sized Tumbleweed Conglomerations ride of 2008, and time for another one. Many options, but there is always the Rio Grande Bike Path with a total out and back length of about 27 miles, 28-ish if one starts from the Satellite restaurant (good for pre-ride coffee and pastry) at Corrales Road and 528. I'm game for 3/15 (Sunday), as is Ryan Watson. I know we have a Bob or two from Santa Fe, and at least one RBW listmember there; Tarik from Los Alamos; Ryan and me and Dr. John (?) here in ABQ.
I'd vote for a 25 to 40 miler (which means I'll have to start riding 30s more often), starting with breakfast and ending with dinner or late lunch -- last year it was the Taj Mahal on 528 (the only one open when we got back). They have a buffet, or had one last year. And just maybe the wind won't be so bad this time .......... Let me know. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
