Hey lum, Just got a pair of these for myself and fiance. We both love it. I've ridden with platform pedals and they are pretty comfy. Sole feels solid. They are pretty snug with thick socks but break in over time. I personally wear them for casual and commuting on flat pedals. Worn then down

Lum, in essence you are taling boiled wool socks with sandals, which you can see in winter action here. Depending on what winter means to you, you’ll be fine, or you’ll wish for more wind blocking (I get 30-50 mph winds in winter, and even a little getting through is cold at various temps.). I d
