I’ll second Irvine/Orange County. Irvine has a wonderful amount of paved trails
you can ride. Don’t miss out on the back bay loop (part of the Mountains to Sea
Trail). If you come to Orange County there’s also a boardwalk in Newport Beach
that would be perfect as it’s flat and has ocean views th

There's a nice bike path along the beach that goes from Redondo Beach up
towards Malibu. There is a bit of a jaunt onto roads at Marina del Rey, so
you if you want to avoid that, then you can go from Venice up north through
Santa Monica until you feel like you want to turn around. Venice/Santa

I did not realize this would be a long weekend. After it dawned on us that
there is no school Monday, we are considering packing up and driving to CA for
a mini-vacation. I would love it to be a bike trip, but I love biking more than
anyone else in my family, and you know how that goes - you got
