There's a nice bike path along the beach that goes from Redondo Beach up towards Malibu. There is a bit of a jaunt onto roads at Marina del Rey, so you if you want to avoid that, then you can go from Venice up north through Santa Monica until you feel like you want to turn around. Venice/Santa Mo
