I have a like-new black leather VO Model 6 saddle that, while well- made and cool-looking (like a Brooks Swallow), is a bit too narrow for me. I really wish it would work for me because I love everything else about it. I put a light coat of proofhide on top, nothing on bottom as there is a thin laminate to prevent excess saging. I put about 100 miles max. on the saddle and there are no signs of it conforming to my sit bones; it's just like new. VO sells them new for $95; I'm asking $75 to help me finance another model.
