Here's the full story on that bike, with pics of both paint jobs. I
believe the orange was paired with very dark blue, not black. Either way
is'a piece of Rivendell history.

Now I am a natural skeptic, but I dont want to besmirch this seller
unjustly. One would think, however that the first ever production bike
from Rivendell would attract more attention.
That's Chris Kostman's bike, which is the 1st All Rounder. You can see
the story here:
http://www.xo-1.org/2011/11/for-sale-rivendell-all-rounder-1995.html
It was originally painted orange like an XO-1, but was re-painted
fairly recently. There are some great pictures of it in the Velo Cult
Ah my fellow list members, turning skeptics into believers. Half of me
wants to be all Indiana Jones and say it belongs in a museum and half of me
wants to be shorter so I could ride it, haha.

I've always hankered after this bike of Chris', it's perfect. The repaint
is nice but I really loved the original orange/black. Seems like a fair
deal to me taking into account condition, history and cost of new
Rivendells.
