I have decided to log 1000 miles on Strava on each of my bikes, focusing on 2 or 3 bikes at a time. Three of these bikes have reached their 1000 mile quota and are going to be parked for a while anyway. This is your opportunity to grab them instead of letting them sit in the stable. The Gunnar singlespeed is a cute novelty to me, but singlespeed riding is not something I need. I've got 1000 miles of trying it to prove I CAN do it, but I don't need to do it. Having only one gear gets me nothing. Maybe it's time for you to do a 1000 mile experiment, or maybe you know singlespeed is for you. The Rosco Step Through has not been ridden 1000 miles, but I want to replace it with a 56cm 650B Atlantis frameset. Rivendell has 14 of them in stock, so if you buy this Rosco, you'll indirectly help Rivendell manage their inventory. The Leo Roadini is awesome, but I can always get another. The Niner RLT9 is awesome as well, but I'm convinced that if I'm going to run a 650B disc road bike, I want to be able to run >2.1" mountain bike tires. This frame is limited to 43mm wide tires, which in my book makes the disc brakes unnecessary. There may be a Black Mountain disc bike in my future, or a custom Steve Rex, but my Niner experiment is sufficiently complete. Also available for sale: A Lauf Grit suspension fork $500.
