Just need it for life and I spend a lot of time being active outdoors. I
don't tend to buy new stuff often unless I get it used or thrifted so I
like to do my homework.

Look at minus33 their merino wool stuff is great for cycling and they have
different weight hoodies...

I have the Revelate Hoody which I love but I wouldn't mind
