Coming back to a road-y bike (Herse) with multiple speeds and
freewheel after so many years of nuthin'-but-fixed I must say that
having even a 2X5 drivetrain (the Herse has a 42/32 X 13-28 Ultra six,

Two things...
1) Riding fixed is fun and its a great workout - I've been riding the
QB fixed for over a month now.
2) Midge bars are very comfy - I'm loving the short reach and
