I have a very nice Sugino 48 tooth ring, 7075 Al, ramps & pins, silver and
black. Nice looking. I have had it for a few years but it is still in good
condition, and shifts very well. During a recent inspection, I noticed for
the first time that it has threads for a traditional stud which would fit
between the ring and the crank arm. But I have no stud. Did I ever?

If you have an old worn ring with a stud, I would like to have it. If you
know a source for that small part, I would like to know too. If you know
what the hole and thread size is, perhaps a longish allen bolt would work?

If you can't help with that, perhaps you can tell me where the sun has
gone? Its been missing in Vermont for almost a month now.

Michael
