It actually was not nearly as cold on New Years Day in the midday-sun exposed
parts of the Headlands as prior days had been in the Bay Area.
Joe is seen in the t-shirt just at the end of a long hard climb so the
circumstances photographed were out of the norm for the day. Soon after that

Looks like fun, James. I can understand why you stayed in the hostel
instead of camping. I rode mixed terrain rides every day this week,
up in the hills, and I saw a lot of puddles with ice in them. Brrr.
The only thing I don't understand about those pics is the crazy person
dressed in shorts and
Andy just has to make sure there's coffee on a ride! And if he's bring it
for one, he might as well bring it for 10!!!
Sounds like a great time on the Headlands.
