Clearance for the widest possible metal fenders for the 44mm Compass tires.

It's a shame you had to sacrifice the pump peg to mount the center pulls but
the brakes look good. I'm working on a 60 Cheviot now, I went with the Tektros.
Spent some time today working on the fenders. I'm using the 52 VO Zepplins with
Compass Snoqualmie pass tires. Looks like

Thought I'd start a new thread so it's easy for others to find the
reference. Will continue the old thread as I add the fenders to my Cheviot.
I did it! Thanks to Sheldon and my fortuitous find of his article where he
states that on Mixtes, the rear brake can be placed indistinctly above
