I have the disc version of this hub on two wheelsets. A year in and I still
love it. The noise does quiet down after a bit, particularly if you pack it
full of grease.

VO says put Phils oil on pawls to quiet them if you like.
I’m not going to bother.
Not too loud for me.
Its like 1/2 way between LX and angry bee Chris King hub, I woukd guess.
My LX hubs are virtually silent when riding,
The VO can be heard above the wind in your ears
Just watched some you tube videos. Wow. That’s some noise.

I’m thinking of buying one plus an extra cassette body for my parts hoard. Not
many reasonably priced 36h hubs around.
