I was on the search for one of these last year. This is the in-between step from 1 inch quill to 1 1/8 ahead. I think they were made for about two weeks in 1996. The best option I found was at Nashbar. The quill isnt that long but the angle is almost vertical. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes//Product

Kelly: Another option might be to go with a quill adaptor that adjusts via a quill, but accepts a 1 1/8 threadless stem. Personally I haven't used this setup, so I can't comment on it. I'm sure folks on this forum have, though... either that or you can certainly find reviews online. Good luck.
