You don't mention the Bikery (?) in Stillwater. From what I hear,
it's a destination worth visiting (haven't been there myself). Six of
us did a tour of northeastern MN and a couple of days in western WI in
Sept., and found the bakeries to be outstanding, especially Betty's
World Famous
Aha, that was you that I saw on the Gateway. I took my Rivendell
custom all-rounder out on Saturday for a trip around Washington
County. A mix of gravel and asphalt. With no map or plan it was a
true wandering ride, took a series of lefts and rights on roads I'd
never ridden. Turned out

Haven't ever stoped at the Bikery. Ended up stopping at a couple of
bookstores instead on this trip. Plus, a place like the Bikery
doesn't do any good for my diet. (Yes, am still trying to drop the
last pounds.) Yes, good bakeries are abundant around here. A very
hard thing to avoid
