Linda, I was there yesterday, and I'm still sold on the blue. I looked at the
mustard Appa and it's gorgeous, but this confirmed my sense that light blue has
more "stay" with me..that I will still love it years from now.
I went through this process when I bought my FIAT Abarth three years ago.
That's helpful, Joe, especially since (if I remember correctly) you (like
me) had picked out the dark mustard Clem. I've put in a request to change
my pre-order back to the blue. I can hardly wait to see it in person and
to get my feet on the pedals! Glad you are so happy with your Appaloosa.
Kieran, it is indeed a long bike. The sense that the seattube is right in the
center of the frame contributes to the visual, plus I think the dropbars
elongate it. You're used to seeing Appas with reachback bars, which tend to
shorten up the space above the toptube.
