Both my bikes delivered via bikeflights arrived intact. The only complaint
I have is that they charged me an extra $5 because I insisted on a
signature at the receiver-end. Jeff reports that the FedEx dude left the
box right there on the porch, without having him sign. It worked out fine,

I'm vacationing in Europe after PBP and using them to ship from St Quentin to
Vienna, where I'll pick it up and fly home. Thus far I can only attest to the
customer service, which has been great. The shipping is $200, including $4000
insurance. That is much cheaper than my alternative of shippin
Frameset plus wheels with a few other bits, but quite a bit lighter weight
than a fully assembled bike. Full-sized bike box, but only 20lbs of total
packed weight

Somebody recently directed me to this site - and I'm glad they did. The
problem with shipping frames, bikes, wheels, etc., is that FedEx and UPS
nowadays charge a lot more for larger boxes regardless of their actual
weight (they call it "dimensional weight"), and as we know, the boxes for

Doesn't really matter at all what's inside the box. I've definitely used

I've heard nothing but good things about BikeFlights. By chance has anyone
tried ShipBikes.com? My LBS uses them. And ShipBikes.com also ships via
FedEx, so I'm curious to know the difference (if any) between BikeFlights
and ShipBikes.

I was kind of skeptical at first but now I'm a huge fan and I highly
recommend them.
I've must of shipped approx 10 things through them including frames,
wheels, groups, ect.
I also shipped a bike in a Tri-All-3 case to & from Portland, OR. Extremely
affordable!
Seriously, avoid retail price
