Ian, I have to agree about comfort - the high-mileage laced saddle I show Is an easy-chair. But I'll end up replacing it this fall after finishing out the summer sweat. S. Texas summer sweat is what ages Brooks saddles here. From October to May we just ride on them, but June to September,

Ron makes and fair point and the saddle certainly looks sorry for itself in the photos, but for my 15 mile round trip commute and the odd 60 mile weekend ride, it does well enough and is as comfortable as an old boot. For longer rides I have other bikes with newer lower mileage Brooks. I
