I once read but never heard repeated that the Bleriot name and decals were
conceived as a travel bike (S&S maybe?). Rivendell had the art ready to go and
it ended up on the Riv+QBP bike. It is a good name for a bike but a GREAT name
for a travel bike.

I'm not an huge fan of the color (although is pretty enough), but I agree about
the graphics. I love the plane flying through the "Bleriot" decal on the
downtube, which Grant told me is called a spear. Plus "Bleriot" is just a great
bike name.

Bleriots are cool.
And the metallic paint job and silver parts just light up like diamonds in
the sunlight.
I have had a 55, and now a 53.
Nice bikes. One of the coolest decals on a Rivbike ever made. I think
Bleriots, Ranbouillets, and Salukis have the coolest decal art.

Sorry, I do not know for sure, but I think not. They came with the bike (I
