Interesting note, I had a Brooks tan B17 13 to 15 years ago and didn't have
the patients for it to supposedly break in and sold it, then tried one
again this year on my AHH with padded underwear, comfortable but when I
took the suggestion to discard the padded underwear and just wear the

interesting considering the fairly minor diffs between models. Still, I
might just be ready to finally try a Brooks.

In addition to below, the Select's frame and rails have a coarse matte
black finish, presumably for less chance of slippage (?), or possibly as

The Champion Special has copper plated rails/hardware, chamfored
leather edges, hand-hammered
