Thank you Patrick,
I had the earlier moustache bars on a couple bikes.
I found myself a bit stretched out in the forward position and wanting a bit
more length in the rearward position.
The new version seems to have addressed both these issues.
I have an Ibis Scorcher with the original bars an
For what its worth, I love the Albastache (new Moustache) on my Quickbeam
fixed. Both hand positions are great for climbing in and out out the saddle and
I love cruising along on the back position.
With abandon,

If I didn't already have a bike with Albastache, that'd be my choice, too. I
think I'm going to set it up with Compass Seilacooms and Nitto RM-013 on a dirt
drop stem, because I don't have a bike like that yet.

...now to decide on which bars and brakes, I have just about everything else.
I’m leaning towards albastache.

I really dig the kickback Quickbeam. It's about perfect in traffic, at
least coming up Market Street in San Francisco. Without a coaster brake it
doesn't feel heavy, either.
I just switched the QB back to a dingle fixed drivetrain, and there's no
easy swap between the two setups. I think the S
I’d do unsavory things for a 61cm Senor Frank Jones. I’m happy for all of you
that got one in your size!

Joe I have a 2 speed kickback installed on my Quickbeam. I love the
simplicity and the lower gear is there if I need it. Funny how you can
return to the "simple" way of riding when you have to!

Ah, it's a 2-speed. I hadn't noticed that.

Eh, you should be ok, Jeremy. You'll still have the clean, derailer-less
chainline, which my 2-speed Cheviot sacrifices to a front derailer and Paul
Melvin. I love that look, but there's no real world in which I'm going to stop
and change gears by hand..I'm not that cool! 😎

I do love the clean and simple look. It makes me question my plans for a
triple-crankset Frank Jones Sr. build (42x16, 36x19, 28x22). Hopefully we
can keep everything else nice and clean like this. :)
