Here's an album with some pics of my Sage Sam. The albatross bars currently
wear maroon cloth tape (not shellacked) which I think goes well with the
sage.

Sweet setup Jon, giving me some good ideas.
Lately I'm partial to brown or gumwall tires, but all-black tires look
great on the sage Sams, like Joe mentioned. The cream fenders are a great
touch.

I have an orange Sam and the original bar tape was a sort of sage-turquoise
color--it looked great. I'm imagining orange tape, possibly with amber
shellac, or the burnt orange with clear, would look fantastic on your bike.
Maroon with clear would look cool, too, possibly with some grey mixed in

I didn't have my Sage Hillborne too long, but here are the only pictures I
took of it.

Mine were dark grey. I didn't get around to shellacking it. I probably
would've gone black next time around.
