What I did, I wanted the light forward enough to miss my rando-box bag, so
I used a mount bolted to the tab at the front of my Mark's rack, to put the
light out front.

To add more clearance out front, I used a long spacer (about 1 1/2 inch?)
and longer bolt, and it clears the basket. Easy, cheap solution, and I
prefer to use the front mount of the Nitto rack, above the wheel.

Rick,
I have a supernova on my nitto mini front mounted on one of the side bolts
using a long M6(?) bolt and a plastic spacer to push it out far enough to
clear the rack. I mounted mine upside down (which some people say is a bad

Here is a link to the version I came up with using an upcycled chain ring
and a nitto rack bolt on the Mark's Rack Strut. I by no means invented
this, there are a few examples on flicker. I have used it with good
success.

Rick,
It depends on how much clearance you have out front of the basket or
underneath, search flickr for edelux, or dyno lights and you can see a few
options. i think the under basket mount looks the cleanest (and you don't
have a light hanging out front), but this mounting location would depe
