If it helps: the Moustache is a fairly aggressive (low and forward) bar. Albastache is wider and a (personal bias here) wonderful best of all possible worlds bar, being aggressive enough to easily ride tucked when needed, but comfortable for a whole day of riding (at least for me). It also exce

Thanks, all. That's a lot of good feedback. I'm interested in both the Bosco bar and the Albastache/Moustache. I'll give Brian a call and see what he recommends. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. To unsubscribe from this grou

Mike, I am 5'10" with a pbh of 87 and I went with the 58. For me, either size would work. I too bought mine without a test ride, though I had a 56 Sam Hillborne. I would make the choice based on the handlebar you intend to use. Drop bars - go with the 54 for the shorter top tube. MTB or swept b

My PBH is 87.5 and my primary bike is a 54 Hunq. It sounds to me like you should go for the 58. The Hunqapillar's geometry means a long top tube so your stem/bar combination could also affect your decision. On Friday, February 13, 2015 at 5:47:13 PM UTC-8, Mike K. wrote: > > I have been eyeing

Mike, Another point to consider is the tire you intend to use. I have 35 mm tires, smaller than Riv recommends, so that lowers the top tube. If you want to max out the tires, for aggressive off road, that would impact the standover. But the 54 still seems small for you. Jim D.

I think you qualify as long-legged. I'm just shy of 6'-2", with a pbh of 87cm, and have been keeping my eye out for one of those elusive 56cm Hunquapillar's too. ;-) In all seriousness - faced with the same dilemma, I'm interested in your impressions if you get the opportunity to try both t

Another data point: I am about 5'9" with a pbh of 84 and my 54 Hunq is just fine. Seems that a 54 would be small for you. Jim D. in snowy Massachusetts On Friday, February 13, 2015 at 8:47:13 PM UTC-5, Mike K. wrote: > > I have been eyeing the Hunqapillar for a few years and have decide

I'm 5'10 and 89.5 PBH. That makes me long legged for my height. I fell between the 54 and 58 too. I got the 58 and it fits fine, although I don't like my Bullmoose cockpit so much. I ride the Homer and Roadeo 99% of the time. I'm between the 61 and 63 on those two, and have the 63 in both. They

Mike, My PBH is 90cm and I love my 62 Hunqapillar. I like my frames on the larger side (my Quickbeam is 66). You'd be just fine on a 58. But talk with the folks at Rivendell. They will steer you right. I know how it feels ordering a frame without riding it, but they really do have the remote si
