If my stable were limited to a Roadeo and a Sam Hillborne, I'd happily keep and ride both. Set up the Roadeo as a gofast only bike, and keep the Sam as a loaded commuter/errand bike with tires fat enough for at least firm dirt and gravel. (How fat a tire will your Sam take, anyway?) Puhleeze! Don'

Paul, Great writeup. I have had a ton of bikes in all shapes and sizes. At 65yo, I am no longer looking for that magical bike, I have found it in the Roadeo. By the way, have you consider Compass 32c ultra lights? They're expensive, but they really fit a Roadeo's ride. Just a thought. Don Compton
